This project is about how to interface a smallest and cheapest arduino ever.

The smallest and cheapest arduino is arduino pro mini.

It similar to arduino Uno but it is small and cheap as compare to arduino Uno.

...

Step 1: Requirements

  1. Arduino pro mini
  2. Arduino Uno
  3. Connection wire
  4. 9v battery
  5. Led

Step 2: Prepare Arduino Uno

  1. Remove Microcontroller from arduino uno
  2. Connect connectors to arduino pro mini

Step 3: Connections

Arduino pro mini - - - - > Arduino Uno

  1. DTR/GRN - - - - - - - > RESET
  2. TX - - - - - - - > TX
  3. RX - - - -- - -> RX
  4. 5V -- - - - - - > 5V
  5. GND ------------> GND

Step 4: Connection of Led

  1. Positive terminal of led - - - > 9th pin of arduino pro mini
  2. Negative of led - - - > GND of arduino pro mini

Step 5: Upload Program

  1. Connect your arduino Uno to pc
  2. Open tool >> port select port where your arduino is connected
  3. Open tool >> board >> select arduino pro mini
  4. Open tool >> processor >> select as your board. If you don't know your arduino's processor then try each
  5. Open file >> example >> basic >>fade
  6. Upload this program to arduino

Step 6: Connect 9v Battery

  1. Positive terminal of 9v battery - - - - > RAW pin of arduino
  2. Negative terminal of battery - - - - > GND pin of arduino

All done..............
