Introduction: No More Fear

My son (6 years) does not like to sleep completely in the dark and always asks me to leave some lights on. When I was a child I suffered from the same problem. But this is normal! Children who are aged 4 – 6 years old have the most fear of the dark and this only tapers off by age 9. To help my son to lose their fear of the dark, I decided to build a fun light fixture for him.

As we are fanatics for Star Wars, I had an idea and I will share the project with you, a thematic wall light fixture.

In my son's room there is a wall outlet that was not used, and with a couple of materials and imagination we can win the Dark side of the Force….

Step 1: Materials

You will need:

- Star Wars The Force Awakens First Order Stormtrooper Voice Changing Mask Roleplay Toy

Step 2: Preparing the Wall Outlet

Preparing the wall outlet. I just removed the cover (1) and the screw on the top (2) and replaced it for the Screw Hook. You just need to find one with the same diameter.

Note: Power can Kill you! Take care!!!

Step 3: Cable Ties Are Strong....

1- In the adjustable neck part, adjust it in the maximum position and use cable ties hold it. To install the power source it is necessary to remove the adjustable part indicated in the picture (Yellow arrow).

2- Using a hand drill with 1.5mm drill bit, make one hole as showed in the picture and install the Screw Eye.

3- Apply a piece of double-sided tape on the back of the control box and secure it in part indicated by the red arrow .

4- Cable ties to hold the led strip inside the mask. Fix it in the head strap and in the black piece responsible to produce the sound (highlighted in orange).

Step 4: Final Touches

See if everything is tight , connect all cables and hang in place to make sure everything is right.

Step 5: Light! No Fear....

First picture you can see after and before. Everything is ok....

Now there is no space for Fear, we have the Force.... hahahaha
