Introduction: Drill Sanding Attachment (In Under 2 Minutes)

I required a way of sanding the bottom of a small, oddly shaped recess. With no obvious easy was to do this, this attachment seemed the quickest way.

Step 1: What You Need:

A small scrap of 18mm Ply or MDF

A nut and bolt

A holesaw and drilling machine

Glue

Sandpaper

Step 2: Start...

Using a hole saw, drill a hole in a piece of 18mm MDF (Or Ply).

Step 3: Middle...

Counterbore a recess so the head of your chosen bolt will sit below the surface of the MDF. Place the bolt in the hole and tighten the nut on the back.

Step 4: End.

Roughly cut a piece of sand paper ( I used an old belt sander belt) to fit the MDF. Glue or use double sided tape to apply the sand paper, trim and its ready to use!
